VISIBLE THINKING IN KEYNOTE
Created by Chris Galley
@cgalleyedu
This book is designed to show how the power of Keynote can be used as a Visible Thinking tool. The built-in features and flexibility of the app make it ideal for recording and evidencing the thinking process. The collection of routines can be used as pre-assessments, as formative assessments, or as a reflection on learning.
EXPLORING SHAPE AND SPACE
Created by Chris Galley
@cgalleyedu
Teaching maths with upper elementary students is transformed through this collection of five lessons based on the concept of shape and space. Use this guide and included resources to teach geometry topics including tessellation, rotation, symmetry, area, perimeter, and volume. The learning process is reimagined through augmented reality apps, animation, and audio reflections.
LETTER FORMATION WITH IPAD
Created by Chris Galley
@cgalleyedu
Learning to recognise, trace, and eventually, form letters and numbers is an essential part of early childhood education. From a young age, children are curious about letters and begin to play with and manipulate their forms before they begin to write them. This book and the included resources are intended to support this curiosity and the ability to form letters from a young age.
GUIDED & INDEPENDENT READING ACTIVITY WORKBOOK WITH IPAD
Created by Ben Hayden
@BenHaydenEDU
The intention of guided reading is to support children with reading strategies so that they can apply them independently on their way to becoming skilled and fluent readers. The included workbook resource allows for both guided and independent use based on how it is used: either teacher or student lead - or even a mixture of the two! Use the resource as an immersive platform to document and apply core comprehension skills across various reading strands.
MY COMPUTING SCRAPBOOK
Created by Ben Hayden
@BenHaydenEDU
Keeping a copy of all of that amazing computing work you create in one place couldn’t be easier! It could involve screen recordings or videos of your coding to audio of music created in GarageBand. Use the title pages to help organise your work in your very own computing scrapbook.
GRAPHING QUADRATIC EQUATIONS
Created by Mary Kemper
@MrsKemper
This learning experience is designed for Algebra 1 learners to engage in an exploration of graphing quadratic equations. They will analyze a real-life application of parabolic graphing, learn the process to graph quadratic equations, complete a graphic organizer related to the quadratic parent function, and apply their knowledge of key features of the graphs.
GEOMETRIC THINKING
Created by Mary Kemper
@MrsKemper
This learning experience is designed for lower middle school learners to engage in geometric thinking. They will experience 3 challenges and 3 practice opportunities as they learn about the side length and angle measure conditions necessary to create triangles. Then, they will utilize algebraic equations to find missing angle measures in given triangles.  Through teamwork, communication, and critical thinking, geometric understanding will be built.
RATIONAL FUNCTIONS
Created by Mary Kemper
@MrsKemper
This learning experience is designed for Algebra 2 learners to engage in an exploration of relationships in rational functions. They will organize what they know about the rational parent function, then collaborate with a classmate to use coding to model a function. Through teamwork, communication, and critical thinking, the students will continue to experience the abstract concept that is a rational function.
